A hand crafted Sage smudge kit by yours truly, an energy balancing duo that has everything you need to wash away negative energy and replace it with positive energy that radiates throughout your entire space.

Instructions provided and your kit includes:

  • 1 Sage smudge stick
  • 1 Palo Santo stick

 Smudging is a type of blessing where you spread herbal smoke throughout an area to cleanse it. The idea is that it clears out negative energy and vibes It also gets rid of old stale odors. Typically when  we move into a new home or apartment, we always smudge it. Whether its psychological or not it always feels so much better afterwards and gives your home a warm earthy scent. In terms of frequency you can choose how OFTEN you’d like to smudge but I do it weekly and/or if people have been in and out of my home.

 It’s very simple to do. You take your sage stick and light it, blow it out and then while maintaining a positive mindset feel free to verbalize or chant positive affirmations, thoughts etc.. walk clockwise around the perimeter of each room gently waving the smoking sage. You need to keep one window or door open in each room you’re smudging to allow the  smoke to dissipate and the “old energy” to leave. I typically open all windows and doors. I use a bic lighter not matches because sometimes it takes a while to light. I’ve used candles to light my sage sticks as well. Keep your kit in good location some use cigar boxes or other items with lids. (A smudge stick can be used over and over.) 
 
Palo Santo 

To burn Use a candle, match or lighter to ignite your stick of Palo Santo. Hold at about a 45 degree angle pointing the tip down toward the flame. Allow it to burn for about 30 secs to 1 minute and then blow out. Move about your workspace, home, car, bathroom or anywhere you would like to clear the energy.
